Here's a set of questions that was asked in the 1st week of July 2021

Part 1

1. When was the last time you bought flowers?

2. Do you have flowers in your house?

3. Have you ever planted flowers?

4. In your country, is it common to use flowers to celebrate a special occasion?

Part 2

Describe a tall building in your hometown that you like or dislike.

You should say:

• Where this building is

• What it looks like

• What it is used for

And explain why you like or dislike this building

Part 3

1. In your country, is it common to live in a high-rise building?

2. Will it become more common to live in high-rise buildings in the future?

3. What are the disadvantages of living in a tall building?

4. Is it a good idea to construct new buildings in a historical area?

5. Is it better to expand the existing city or to build a new one?

6. Should the people in charge of city development consult with the local residents?

Every Saturday, my goal is to record ideal, band-9-level responses to a brand new, full IELTS speaking test so that you can have a good idea of what to say in response to these questions. Regardless of whether you're aiming for a 6.5 or a 9, these videos will be helpful for you.

Please keep in mind that some of these responses will be much longer than the amount of time for which you'd need to speak, but I'm doing this so that you have an idea of all the kinds of things you can say and HOW to say them in your test.
