Part 1

Are there many forests in your country?

What threats are posed by deforestation?

Are there alternatives to cutting down forests?

What can the average citizen do to help deal with this situation?

Part 2

Talk about a person whom you know well who came up with a new idea or invention. Please tell me

Who is that person?

Where and when did you meet?

What was his/her idea or invention?

And explain how you felt about this person.

Part 3

How can people make new discoveries or inventions?

How do you come up with these innovations?

At what age do teenagers learn to form their own opinions and make decisions?

Why do they start expressing their opinions at a certain age?

Every Saturday, my goal is to record ideal, band-9-level responses to a brand new, full IELTS speaking test so that you can have a good idea of what to say in response to these questions. Regardless of whether you're aiming for a 6.5 or a 9, these videos will be helpful for you.

Please keep in mind that some of these responses will be much longer than the amount of time for which you'd need to speak, but I'm doing this so that you have an idea of all the kinds of things you can say and HOW to say them in your test.
