Iesha Literally Thinks She Can Get Away With Murder

Listen Later

A woman sits in an interrogation room. Her hands are cuffed. Her face is smug. The detective asks where she was on the night of the murder. Iesha says she was at home. Alone. Watching TV. She does not remember what she was watching. She does not remember what time she went to bed. She does not remember anything that might help her alibi. The detective asks if she would take a polygraph. Iesha says yes. She takes the polygraph. She fails. The detective tells her she failed. Iesha says the machine must be broken.

Iesha had been dating the victim's ex-boyfriend. The victim had filed a restraining order against Iesha. Iesha ignored it. She showed up at the victim's apartment. She argued with her. She shot her. She left. She thought no one had seen her. She did not know about the neighbor's security camera. She did not know about the license plate reader at the end of the street. She did not know about the cell tower that pinged her phone at the scene.

Iesha was convicted of first-degree murder. She is serving life in prison. She is still insisting that the machine was broken.

Turn down the lights, put on your headphones, and press play because Iesha literally thought she could get away with murder. She was wrong.
