With Atlanta Falcons Quarterback Matt Ryan turning thirty five years old yesterday Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael discussed the pressure on Ryan’s shoulders heading into the 2020 season. Both Bunker and McMichael agree that the expectation is a Super Bowl victory.

“We all hope it goes great in 2020…but if it doesn’t, they (Falcons) are in a really weird position,” said Bunker.

“Then you got a guy who is going to be thirty-six next year with a couple years left on his contract. Now Matt Ryan would be the quarterback next year for the Falcons too but his future gets a little bit more cloudy if they (Falcons) have to go in a different direction with the coaching staff then it does if they win enough games this year to keep Dan Quinn and everyone together. I don’t think you have to look any further than what the Green Bay Packers just did. Aaron Rodgers is a year older than Matt Ryan,” Bunker continued.

“It all comes down to what Mr. Blank wants. This stadium is still relatively new. Nobody wants to go see a bad product. If you rebuild, it’s going to be a bad product. Let’s call it what it is,” McMichael added.
