If I Did It by OJ Simpson and Pablo Fenjves: An Analysis on Domestic Abuse, Murder, and Who in the Heck is Charlie??

Listen Later

Cara and Cozy take on OJ Simpson's chilling hypothetical account of how he killed Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.  Originally slated to be released on the shelves in 2007, it was cancelled due to fury and outcry from many entities--including the families of the victims.  The Goldman Family was awarded the rights to the book in 2007 in the hopes of blocking any possibility for OJ to make money on the project and as a way to recoup the tens of millions of dollars owed to them and the Brown Family after winning a civil suit against OJ.

This episode contains details and spoilers (though the tragedies occurred 28 years ago).

A 911 Call by Nicole Simpson is heard in the episode (19:28).  This call is public record and was found via Youtube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WHf93uxgKBI.

Cara discusses statistics on domestic abuse (51:32).  These statistics can be found at the National Domestic Violence Hotline:  https://www.thehotline.org/stakeholders/domestic-violence-statistics/.
