Pastor Jeremy shares Sunday in Glendive.
2 Cor 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.
Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him,
for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and
that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Even when I don’t see it
● Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things
hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
● “I will see it when I believe it” - faith
● Imagining something before it becomes reality
● Heb 11:7 Noah - builds an ark
Obeying God when you don’t understand
● Heb 11:8 Abraham - left his own country without
knowing where he was going...reset button at 75.
● Heb 11:29 Red Sea - dry ground, wall of water
Persisting when I don’t feel like it
● Heb 11:27 Moses left egypt
● Feelings are not trustworthy
● Your mood wants to manipulate you
● Gal 6:9 And let us not grow weary while doing
good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not
lose heart.
● Great people are ordinary people, who persist in
doing things other people don’t want to do.
● It’s always the right time to forgive, it’s always the
right time to walk in love, it’s always the right time
to be kind, it’s always the right time to act like the
Bible is true.
Announcing in advance before I have it
● Heb 11:22 Joseph confidently spoke...don’t leave
by bones here...we will inherit the promised land.
● Rom 4:17 (as it is written, “I have made you a
father of many nations”) in the presence of Him
whom he believed—God, who gives life to the
dead and calls those things which do not exist as
though they did;
● Rom 4:17b (TLB) God speaks of future events with
as much certainty as though they were already
past
Trusting if I don’t receive it
● Heb 11:39 And all these, having obtained a good
testimony through faith, did not receive the
promise,
● Faith believes God regardless of circumstances or
outcomes.
