This is a song that I had written in 2004 for a musical that I planned to write about family relationships. This year I have collaborated with James Gladson to update the songs and he has arranged and played my melody. The song is about a young man who is being held hostage in a foreign country and believes that he is about to die.

I am a retired nurse that discovered that she could write songs. To my surprise after writing my first song at 58 years old I found I was able to write lyrics for a variety of genres and make up melodies. By then singing the words to musicians/music director/producers the backing tracks are then made and vocalists record. I do not wish to be a performer. I love writing songs and am lucky enough to have met many very talented musicians and singers who are willing to work with me.
