This summer I am going to skate as much as possible, and punk music has always fanned the flame.

From the first time I heard Black Flags Wasted, Again, 

to the searing energy I felt from the  Dead Kennedys raw sound.

There are very few people who I deem punk or who might even have a firm grasp of what it means, Scotty has always been one of those people I saw as a force unto his own, and that was the punkest thing to me.

My first impression of him was a stocky shaved head maniac,

wearing all black,

skating a mini ramp with bookish intensity.

I think that he may have even been reading a book.

Anyways, we sat down and over a late night telephone connection,

 talked about our ideas of the punk ethos and skateboarding.

As well as people in the skateboard industry who don't skate, charity boxing matches,

starting your own religion, and we share some of our favourite punk songs!

This Episode is dedicated to the Memory of Kierra Davies.
