John opens his letter reminding his readers that the apostles had seen and touched Jesus, in the flesh. This truth, combined with his teaching and his resurrection, make it impossible to relegate Jesus to one of many "good teachers". John then reminds us how we are to deal with sin in our lives: to walk in the light. We discuss what this means, and how essential it is that we confess our sins to one another.
