Flushable wipes actually aren't that flushable.  And neither are make-up removers and baby wipes.  Leland Myers, Executive Director of the Wasatch Front Water Quality Council and Jill Jones, District Manager for Central Davis Sewer District explains how expensive these 'conveniences' can be for homeowners.

Our sewer pipes were designed for our sanitary needs.  Not for items which don't break down over time, like so-called flushable wipes.  And it's costing many cities over $3,000,000.00 a year of taxpayer money to fix.  Learn how dispose of them properly.
