Have you ever been told something and didn't understand the point of what was being discussed? Many times when we don't understand the point of something, we also miss the purpose as to why we are being told whatever is being discussed. This happens often when we read the parables of Jesus. If we don't know the point behind His parable, then we won't get the purpose/application to it either!
