The Grandma Fresh Show

If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far, go together.

🚨 “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” We’ve all heard this proverb — but what if it’s only partially true?

In this 7-minute episode, I gently challenge the narrative that going alone is always the faster path, especially when you are building something visionary — a new idea, invention, program, or calling. Truth is, the process of creation takes time. Going alone can mean slow, lonely, and overwhelming when you’re navigating uncharted territory, building infrastructure, or carrying a heavy dream.

On the flip side, going together isn’t always slow — especially when the vision is clear and the plan is written. “Write the vision and make it plain, so that those who read it may run with it.” When people can see where you're going, they don't hesitate — they run, they build, they amplify. But that only works when you've done the solo work of clarity, alignment, and preparation.

✨ In this episode, I reflect on:

  • The myth of speed vs solitude when you're the visionary
  • Why collaboration is a multiplier, not a drag
  • How writing the vision empowers others to move with you and not against you
  • The shift from isolation to alignment

Whether you’re a solo builder, a quiet dreamer, or someone struggling to get support — this one is for you.
