In many cases we underestimate the magic that books bring us. They can ship us off into a whole new world, or change our perspective on something to give us hope. We can learn so many different things and they can quite literally change our lives.
On this week's episode Ruby and Freya reveal the books that changed their lives and had a strong, magical, impact on the women they are today.
The books highlighted in this episode are:
The Power of Myth - Joseph Campbell
The Rural Diaries - Hilarie Burton Morgan
Witches Brew (Credited to Hilarie Burton Morgan)
6 tea bags of your choice (spiced preferred)
1 can frozen orange juice
1 can frozen lemonade
3 cinnamon sticks
1 tablespoon of cloves
Boil 4 quarts of water and add the tea bags. Let the cauldron bubble for 7 minutes and then remove the tea bags. Add in the remaining ingredients. Let bubble on a simmer for 30 minutes. Strain out spices and ladle into a teacup. "Splash in a healthy dose of whiskey (or tequila) to make it interesting."
