We like to believe there’s a stable “self” at the center of our experience.
A consistent identity. A fixed “me” that thinks, decides, and moves through the world.
But what if that’s not entirely true?
In this episode, we go one level deeper.
If our brain is constantly constructing reality filtering, predicting, and interpreting everything we experience then what we call “self” may not be as solid as it feels.
We explore how:
memory is reconstructed, not recorded
beliefs shape what we notice and what we ignore
identity is continuously updated, not fixed
thoughts and emotions arise automatically
And most importantly…
We explore the difference between:
what we experience…
and the awareness that notices it.
Because the moment we begin to observe our thoughts instead of becoming them, something shifts.
A space appears.
And in that space .. there is choice.
This isn’t just philosophy.
It changes how we relate to our emotions, our past, and even who we think we are.
So the real question becomes:
If your brain builds reality…
who are you, really?
