On Linkedin, one of the very first pieces of information people will see about you is what you write in the Headline section of your profile.

So, a great tip from James Tuckerman (that I totally agree with, by the way!) is to put your email address in that section too. It just makes it so much easier for people to connect with you.

After all, that's really the whole point of Linkedin, right?

Trent's little EXTRA TIP would be, rather than your email address, include the web address for your blog or personal website. If you have any useful, professional sort of content posted online, put that in there. This way, rather than just send you an email, people who are interested can find a way to learn more about who YOU really are.
