Numbers 19

The chapter gives guidelines on how anyone made unclean can be made clean. A heifa is to be killed . Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins.The blood of Jesus has been shed for us now we have been made clean.

Numbers 20

The chapter opens with the death of Moses' sister Miriam. Afterwards the children of Israel started complaining because they were thirsty and there was no water .

Moses was enraged and he hit the rock instead of speaking to it. This action didn't please God.

Moses petitioned Edom to let the Israelites pass. Finally Eleazar successed Aaron after his death as the high priest.

Lesson learnt

We must be sensitive to the holy spirit . We shouldn't allow our emotions to get the best of us. Having a controlled temperament is a key to our success as believers.

Numbers 21

After being attacked by King Arad the Israelites made the vow to destroy his people . Meanwhile the Israelites began to complain , they declared their distaste for the food available to them.

God was enraged and He sent snakes to bite them.

God later ministered to moses to form a big serpent and any one who looks on it will not die.

Lessons learnt

Instead of complaining we should pray. The Israelites never learnt to seek the face of God. They always complain when faced with an unpleasant situation. In life we will be faced with alot of issues but we should always seek the face of God
