The tow handle on these coolers can pinch consumers' fingertips creating a risk of amputation and crushing injuries. The recall includes multiple models manufactured before January 2024, and the date codes may be found on the bottom of the cooler.
About 1 million of these coolers were sold at major retailers, including Costco, Target, Academy, and Dick’s Sporting Goods, as well as online through Amazon and Igloo’s website. Sales occurred nationwide as well as in Canada and Mexico.
Immediately stop using the recalled coolers and contact Igloo at 1-888-943-5182 or via the email [email protected] to receive a free replacement handle.
