Born in Toronto, Canada to Nigerian parents, Ndidi was raised in “The Great White North” before moving to the Chicagoland area during high school. After high school, She went on to graduate from Kent State with her bachelors followed by a masters from Syracuse University in Exercise Physiology. As for music, she grew up listening to traditional West African Music and gospel, then took to the likes of Hip-Hop listening to artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill, and Drake. Today , she is a frequent consumer of Afrobeats and is glad that the genre has recently captivated the world. On this episode, Ndidi offers insight on Toronto’s music scene, the rise of afrobeats, the recipe to Burna Boys international stardom, and participates in “Put On or Put Out”
