For this week's episode of “I Got More To Say” we have Long Island's very own Tyger Munn! Born in Queens and raised on Long Island to black and Guyanese parents, his early introduction to music came by way of his mothers time as a dance instructor and his father's love for R and B. Tyger took to sports during his youth, primarily football, which he credits, along with working at Jones Beach Amphitheater on Long Island, for inspiring his taste in hip-hop with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Pop Smoke, and 21 Savage. After graduating from Merrimack College in 2022, I had the pleasure of meeting Tyger at Syracuse University's Newhouse School this past year where he was a member of the Broadcast and Digital Journalism / Sport Media track. On This episode we chat about his upbringing, how sports impacted his music taste, violence within Hip,Hop, and of course, play “Put On or Put Out!”
