Ignatius of Antioch (35-98 AD) emphasized the teachings of John the Apostle. Unity is the work of Christ and it comes through the Sacraments. He saw the Church as one (i.e. undivided). He coined the word "catholic" which means one or whole. He also coined the word Christianity.
