Serving is the number one way the love-of-God is made real in the life of others.
God shows up through people
We feel overwhelmed and under-resourced.
We can’t help with all of it, so we help with none of it.
We have a GOD-GIVEN mission.
We have an OBSTACLE that hinders our mission.
We have PLAN to fulfill our mission.
Our answered prayers are more than something to celebrate it’s a God-given trust we’re responsible for.
We feel overwhelmed and under-resourced.
We can’t help with all of it so we help with none of it.
When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them… “Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food.”
- Matthew 14:14-19
Jesus replied, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.” “We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered. “Bring them here to me,” he said.
- Matthew 14:14-19
He (Jesus) gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people.
- Matthew 14:19
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.
- Mark 10:45
Christ led with love and compassion.
Bring to Jesus what we do have.
Serve where we can on behalf of Jesus.
Followers of Jesus serve as Christ did, making God’s love real to others.
Prayerfully ask God where you should serve to make his love real in the life of others?
