Everyone has been left some kind of legacy
What’s true of us – is true of the next generation.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
All of us leave a legacy that impacts the next generation.
Our God-given mission has run into a space issue. Doing nothing just becomes a “no” to the people around us that God loves and wants to reach.
How do we leave a legacy of Jesus led life-change that impacts the next generation?
Two days before the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the chief priests and the experts in the law were trying to find a way to arrest Jesus by stealth and kill him.
While he was in Bethany, reclining at the table in the home of Simon the Leper, a woman came with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, made of pure nard.
She broke the jar and poured the perfume on his head.
But Jesus said, “Leave her alone! Why are you bothering her? She has done a fine and beautiful thing for me… She did what she could; she poured perfume on my body to prepare it ahead of time for burial.
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.
…may receive the promised eternal inheritance – now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.
Jesus sacrificed to create a life-changing legacy for us.
Our legacy will be INTENTIONAL
Creating a legacy of Jesus led life-change that impacts the next generation requires sacrifice.
