The Science of Ayurveda is fascinating and my guest Cory Tixier shares the Reader's Digest Condensed version on this episode of Ignite Your Spark. I am always looking for new ways to help us heal our bodies and the practice of Ayurveda is a a powerful way to work with your own body's healing abilities. Cory tells us that Ayurveda is an intentional practice toward the goal of a long life. Who doesn't want that?
Cory found her way to Ayurveda or rather it found her as she was searching for how she was going to connect people to nature. Through Ayurveda and its practices, we learn that it is the science of self. The idea is to create balance in our lives, by balancing our doshas, and every single person is different, there is no cookie cutter approach.
By connecting with an Ayurvedic practitioner, you will help your body maintain homeostasis, it is a foundation on how to understand ourselves so we can make informed decisions regarding our health. AND, it all begins in the digestive system. Food as medicine is definitely at play in the living science of Ayurveda.
Let's all go out and heal our bodies!
