Ecclesiastes 10:10, “If the ax is dull and its edge unsharpened, more strength is needed but SKILL will bring SUCCESS.” (NIV)

 

In this sermon, we look at how we should respond to naysayers that we may face in life. We look at the example of David, and how long before he faced Goliath, David had to face four other giants, and how facing them gave him the courage to take on Goliath. The four giants he faced before Goliath were all naysayers: 1) His dad held him back, 2) Everyone else was afraid, 3) His brothers questioned his motives, 4) The experts doubted his ability. David responded to these naysayers by; 1) Remember they are not God, 2) Don’t get distracted, 3) Never attack back, 4) Stay focused on God and His promises.
