Greetings to everyone who is still subscribed to the iHearIC Radio podcast feed. This show has been on life support since the beginning of the pandemic, but I've really been itching to breathe new life into the project. In order to motivate myself to do the show more regularly, I need to consolidate. So, iHearIC Radio is now a monthly feature on the Rock Hard Caucus feed, and this will be the final episode posted to this feed (at least for the foreseeable future). Apologies to anyone who might be inconvenienced by that, but I doubt there are many of you. Going forward, you can listen to new episodes of iHearIC Radio by subscribing to this RSS feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/rockhardcaucus (or just subscribe to Rock Hard Caucus wherever you listen to podcasts)
For the first episode of this new era of iHearIC Radio, guitarist Dan Padley came over to discuss his own creative path, listen to music from some other local musicians, and most importantly, name some Star Wars planets.

As I'm sure you're aware, the iHearIC project has been pretty sporadic and mostly inactive for a couple years. But there's still a patreon, and there are still people kicking in a little money every month, so I have to give them something in return for their support. For most of this year, I have been uploading my "improvisation for dance" series to fulfill that purpose. One of my day jobs is accompanying dance classes, and in some of those classes I'm lucky and have a lot of freedom to experiment and explore kind of out-there musical ideas. I started recording some of those experiments back in February. Since then I've uploaded 40 pieces in the series; hours and hours of music. Today, I cleared out my backlog and uploaded 7.5 hours of recordings that are scheduled for release over the next 15 days. Here is the first part of the latest batch, for free, here on the iHearIC Radio podcast feed.
If you subscribe to the patreon for just $1/month, you can get the entire series here: https://www.patreon.com/ihearic/posts?filters%5Btag%5D=improvisation%20for%20dance
The patreon money goes towards paying artists to play shows and for promotional materials. I'm hoping to put on a few classic iHearIC shows in 2023, so your support is appreciated!
Also, if you dig the music in the "improvisation for dance" series, you'd probably enjoy my new album with Chris Emery, SUMMER TAPE: https://justinkcomer.bandcamp.com/album/summer-tape

Duroje is back for the 5th anniversary of the very 1st episode of iHearIC Radio. Our first episode of 2022! Sorry!
Carlos Cotallo Solares and Will Yager return to the show to promote Wombat's new album, Befriend the Giant, coming out this Friday (12/3) on bandcamp: https://wombatnoise.bandcamp.com!
Many months have gone by since the last episode of the radio show, but I couldn't let the 4th anniversary pass without bringing Duroje on the show again.
Jake Jones, Gabi Vanek, and Will Yager return to the podcast to discuss our recent and upcoming activities together as a new band called The Unblessed Rest of Us. WARNING: this episode has a lot more adult content than iHearIC Radio is typically known for. Don't listen to this one with your children.
Joshua Johnson is back for his FOURTH appearance on iHearIC Radio. This time we're chatting one on one about his solo music, released recently under the name Copper Johnson.
