Ginger Lim-Dimapasok was born and raised in Manila. Growing up, she would always be around their home kitchen helping make meals with her Mom. As a hobby, she would bake for friends and family and took classes here and there to hone her skills. After a short stint in College, Ginger decided to pursue a Culinary Education at the Natural Gourmet Institute for Food and Health in New York City. After getting married in 2001, Ginger decided to become a housewife and eventually a stay-at-home mom to 2 kids, Jayden and Lia. In 2013, Ginger and her husband, James started the planning stages for Café 86. At present time, they own and operate 4 SoCal locations and one Las Vegas location. Ginger has recently competed in Food Network’s Chopped Sweets and won!
