If you're a young Native American, you know how hard it is to grow up with the stereotypes, discrimination, and the pressure to overcome the historical trauma our elders faced. If you're not a Native American, odds are that you have no idea what's it's like exactly. I identify as Native American but because I went to a middle-class white school, I didn't even get to connect with my culture.
This project is for me, by me, and meaningful to my future as a Native American, a teacher, and a human.
