Well, I recorded yesterday a nice newsy 30 minute podcast but didn’t check my microphone settings and it’s unusable. Alas! Then as the day progressed and overnight I’ve been taken down by the crud – sore throat and stuffy nose – so my ability to record a quilting podcast is pretty compromised. Double alas!  I do manage some book recommendations, though, so if you need a read, check these out:

* Margaret Goes Modern by Frances O’Roarke Dowell

* Hardcore Twenty-Four (Stephanie Plum) by Janet Evanovich

* The City of Brass (The Daevabad Trilogy #1) by S.A. Chakraborty

* All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr

* The Horse Dancer by JoJo Moyes
