Growing up, my family wasn't rich. We weren't poor, but we were at that point where we just couldn't buy nice things. Throughout my childhood and adolescence, I never owned any luxurious items, like necklaces, or diamonds, or crystals. The most expensive thing I owned was my phone, and technically that wasn't even mine - it was a hand-me-down from my older brother. So you can see I had never really had a taste of luxury.
