Two words that play a very big role in our faith are: Persuade and Perceive. One means to cause to believe by appealing to your reason. The other means to become aware of through your senses. Faith is effected by both!

The best scripture to encourage us in this area is found in Romans 8:38-39 which says, "For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
