In Romans 12:3 Paul tells us, "...do not think more highly of yourself than you ought to..." Did you catch that 4-letter word right there in that command? He didn't say that we shouldn't think highly of ourselves. As a matter of fact, Jesus spoke very highly of Himself...He called Himself the Bread of Life, the Good Shepherd, The One and only Son of God and even the Resurrection and the Life! He knew who He was in the Father's eyes and He believed it! A confident person will always seem arrogant to a person who thinks too lowly of themselves. We cannot do "greater things than these" if we think that we are no-good losers. Say this with me, "I'm Awesome & It's OK"!
