One of the things I constantly hear from gun people is that guns are pretty much all you need for a revolution and for self-defense. Usually, the American Revolution and the Vietnam War are cited as examples where this has worked. While true to an extent, this also ignores the role other state actors played, as well as the importance of supplies, supply lines, and the security of said supply lines.
