The bungling on the vaccine rollout should dispel the myth of capitalist efficiency for people. The only "efficiency" capitalism is great at finding is how to maximize profits, because that is what capitalism is supposed to do at all costs. They are not beholden to society, or the people, or the government; they are beholden to their shareholders who make up a fraction of the population. It is a recipe for disaster and more people should recognize it as such.
