Today is day three of our week-long Christmas series delving into the history, complexity, and evolution of one of the most important holidays in Western civilization. It wouldn't be Christmas in the West without the fake notion of a "War on Christmas" rooted in historical ignorance. Granted, I take personal issue with people who complain about nativity scenes, but a "war on Christmas" that does not make.
