A lot of people in the West really like to say "my country right or wrong" as a rallying cry for patriotism, but I take issue with it for two main reasons; one, it's an incomplete quote and two, mindless blind patriotism is not real patriotism and is ultimately damaging to patriotism and any kind of sensible discourse.
