Or “how much smack have I talked about man bun guy”. But it all starts with growing a ponytail which reminds me of my youth in Jackson Hole, WY. Which leads to my fathers eulogy and inheriting his genetic twitches. To the meat of the matter: assuming the person is just a mirror of my own thoughts actions and ideals; how I think I’m enlightened relative to you is judgmental. And more!

It all stems from kindergarten/first grade… As my mother likes to tell it. Jackson Hole WY in the mid 70’s is a hippy outpost. I got to do my fathers Eulogy. “A life well lived, Sandy Z… And oh yeah “he could be a prick!””. There are sort’s of people who had asshole fathers, who earned inheritance, and didn’t get sh*t. There is no escaping the genetic twitches of your parents… Trying to sort out new boundaries with old friends. Confusing support with criticism. Often times the way I speak about the new awareness that I have is judge-ee. I had this thought, “I’m better of just keeping my mouth shut a lot!” If I am in a more compassionate state, would I have heard what the other person said as more compassionate? It’s such a sweet memory of my mother.
