I recently read this quote, "Being a helper is not for the weak, and being a wife means being your husband's rock of support." With our current climate, this quote caused me to pause and think about how black men men are under valued and dishonored in society. So today, as a wife of a black man, I'm sharing my thoughts about being his rock of support and his place of peace.
