We are surrounded by people who have what we don't--possessions, relationships, opportunity, talents. And our instinct is to wish we had it and they didn't. Jealousy is so powerful that it can blind us to the good things that are already ours. The story of Saul and Jonathan shows contrasting responses toward David, God's chosen King. They warn and encourage us to deal take our jealousy to God before it destroys us.
