Incredibly talented and forward-thinking Cameroonian Impressionist artist, Ludovic Nkoth, states that his work “attempts to regain things that were taken away from my people. Things such as power, culture, the idea of self, and the idea of being black and proud.”

Ludovic discusses how people assume that he is a rapper when he introduces himself as an artist. Black people are not thought about outside of entertainment which is why Ludovic wants to use his platform as an artist to educate and demystify the stereotypes of who and what black men can be.
