Reflecting on the week, this weekend.
Started out with the hype of the new year and somewhere along, some sort of weakness got in which I worked upon in prayers and being intentional.
I spent time today pondering on why I try so hard to be nice to people yet they tell me to my face that they didn't like me when they first met me from a distance till they got acquainted. This baffles me because all I do is try to be friendly, giving a little of myself to everyone to create a harmonious environment.
My resolution, however, is to stop trying and just be myself, they will all come around, they will be fine.
Even while still keeping up with the high spirits, I already made offences this year that just began, can you imagine. it's detailed out in the video.
I was actually moved to tears thinking about it but making it into a video, I couldn't resist smiling into the cam and putting up a good energy.
There's always a song for every mood and for this, it was Human by Christiana Perri.
