Hello, folks! This episode of ADHD in a HURRY! focuses on my recent experiences with feeling "stuck", more specifically ADHD dysregulation (emotionally, cognitively, and behaviorally). Essentially, I spent a full day with a knot in my stomach; a continued low-grade sense of anxiety and tenseness. I couldn't locate the initial cause, breathing techniques weren't working, and I was becoming more agitated by the hour.
However, I spoke out loud about what I was specifically feeling and experiencing. I reminded myself that days like this have happened before, and it's usually a precursor to a big idea. Once I was able to redirect my thoughts into something productive, I felt a growing sense of calm cover over me.
Please listen through and let me know your experiences with dysregulation, and what works to help you!
