Yolanda Owens, founder of iwi fresh, believes that fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and essential oils are the only ingredients suitable for a healthy, beautiful body because it is what it is ('iwi'). Despite being pushed into engineering given her skills in math and science in school, she was always drawn to her creative side that led her to start making beauty products and treatments while getting her computer science degree in college. Fast forward and she created a Farm-to-Skin-Spa that helps anyone with skin keep it healthy with crops direct from the farm. Yolanda's story took another turn when COVID-19 forced her to close the doors of her spa and she shares how she pivoted her business and has continued to thrive.
