Emma Sutherland is a PhD candidate at the University of Otago and specialises in health supplements and human physiology. She also works for InsituGen, an innovative University start-up company which uses novel technology to catch drug-cheats in sport. Emma has competed at elite levels in cycling and in this podcast, she shares her journey from the top of her sport to her battles with her health and living in an immunocompromised state.
