In this episode of Immunology in Aberdeen brought to you by the Aberdeen Immunology Group, we are very excited to present to you our latest episode where we sat down with Dr Frank Ward.
After working for ten years as a plant scientist in industry, he decided to follow his personal interest and passion in immunology and autoimmune disease by undertaking a PhD at King’s College London researching autoantibodies and T cell responses in Lupus. He continued his interest in T cell immunology as a postdoc in London before coming to the university of Aberdeen to work. Alongside his current role as a lecturer at the university of Aberdeen, he is now actively involved in developing new therapeutics for a range of cancers.
Dr Frank Ward, University of Aberdeen
Presented by Raquel Ferro Barroso (PhD candidate, University of Aberdeen) and Kate Burgoyne (Technician, University of Aberdeen)
