He began his scientific career at the University of Cambridge doing an undergraduate degree in Natural sciences before transitioning into a PhD investigating how sugars interact with and dictate the immune response. He continued his work exploring the world of sugar immunology as a post-doc at the University of Aberdeen and was recently appointed to Lecturer in Immunology here also.
