Dr Mike Morgan is a lecturer in computational biology and immunology at the Institute of Medical Sciences at the University of Aberdeen. He got his PhD in pharmacogenetics from University of Leeds studying the genetics of rheumatoid arthritis before training in computational biology at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. Mike’s research now blends computation and experimentation to unravel how ageing affects our immune systems, and how this can be manipulated to promote healthy ageing.
