Publisher's Summary:
Sam is banished to Hel, the bond with her angel, Gregory, broken. Six Elven kingdoms are battling for supremacy, and she's broken and injured in the middle of the most hostile one. Shooting the top off a royal throne, committing fraud in the completion of a contract, and threatening a high lord hasn't endeared her to the elves, either. If she wants to free the enslaved humans they hold, she'll need to find a way to help unite their kingdoms. But elves aren't the only problem facing Sam. The ancient demon, Ahriman is holding her to the terms and conditions of the breeding contract she signed - and one thousand years under his claw is looking to be the most terrifying thing in all of Hel.

I'm back in the Saddle again.
The more I read of this series the more I like it. But it does need to be read in order to understand the transformation of Sam and I love Sam she is a hoot and has a heroic heart. This book is back in Hell and Sam has again more problems on her plate than she knows what to do with. I will defiantly be getting the next book and will be requesting that Audible get the spin off series about Wyatt's sister. Again my only complaint is the narrator, she is too slow for me and I end up putting my player on fast speed so that I don't get bored with her.
Narrator
I personally love the series and have read and re-read it by myself. Now that I work a job that allows reading via audible, I am making my way through the Audio books. I love the sound of Angela's voice, but there are issues at times with her story telling. In book 1, she spoke so slowly I had to listen to the book on a fast forward setting. Once she started book two, her tempo was great and she was starting to really get into her characters mindsets and voices. The only issue I've had since book two, is that there are times in book 2/3/4 that I can hear her chewing gum. It's not a loud obnoxious chew, but I can hear her bite down on it as she speaks and even though it's barely noticeable, it does drive me nuts when I do hear it. I get that it helps with her salivation as she is spending long periods reading, but it irks me time to time. And if by chance she isn't chewing gum? She needs to be sure to figure out how to remove the sound she's making with her mouth at times. This specific book probably only has it once or twice so I was happy to get into the story and not have any distractions.
Overall, the stories are always 5star. The Narrator has gone from 2/3 stars in the first book to 4/5 stars in the rest, and I look forward to hearing the rest of them.
Imptastic
This book rocked. I enjoyed how Samantha reached her full potential by exercising self-determination. The story was a continuation of the pervious book and is not a good stand alone, however, it is a quick and entertaining listen. The narration is very good. There are very long pauses between chapters. It sometimes appear like the recording stopped, almost a commercial break. I highly recommend this book and the series to others.
BEST SERIES EVER!!!
OMG!! Most series by this time I can't even make myself read the next book I'm so bored or upset.
