"We tend to judge others by their behavior, and ourselves by our intentions."

It is tempting to apply a different yardstick when looking at others’ behaviour to when we consider our own. Yet when we think about the effect that the behaviour of others has on us – this is giving us a good indicator of how we might be impacting too. There is good evidence that we what we notice in others may be somewhat reflective of ourselves good or bad. So paying attention to our impact and making a different choice is likely to give us more the results we want.
