When we look back and reflect on our conversations we can often see things only from our own viewpoint and maybe be none the wiser. If on the other hand we literally step into someone else’s shoes even briefly, we can gain insight and new learning that can last a lifetime ! In NLP this exercise is referred to as Perceptual Positions and in my opinion one of the most valuable exercises we can do!
