In part 2 of our series on David's battle vs Goliath, we explore how David was already equipped with experience and material good needed to defeat the giant in front of him. 

Whether you grew up in church or not, you're probably familiar with the story of David and Goliath. However there were many different lessons leading up to the fight that we don't talk about... until today!

In Ezekiel 37, the Spirit of God leads Ezekiel to a valley and asked him a question. We examined Ezekiel's interesting answer which led to an unbelievable word from the Lord to Ezekiel.

Romans 8:15-18 lays out that we are children of God, heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus in God's glory. However, it also says if we share his glory, then we must share in his sufferings. Today we looked at what it means to share in the sufferings of Christ.

As Christmas approaches we took a look at Jesus as the Prince of Peace as prophesied in Isaiah 9:6. What's the implication of "peace on earth" as the great heavenly multitude sang in Luke 2? 

God used a simple animal feeding trough to be the place where Christ Jesus would lay. What if the very thing you were overlooking was the instrument God had his eye on to be a blessing to you?

When we hold on to disappointments, failures and fears, that "thing" gets the victory over us time and time again. We discussed how to move forward even when you struggle to move on. 

Psalm 138:8 encourages us that the Lord will perfect (or mature) the things concerning us. Sounds good, but we discussed how that process can be an uncomfortable place.

Jeremiah 29:11 is a very popular verse. Today we looked at the context in which it was written and discovered what God is saying to us today.
